Thank you to the parents who helped with transport to and from Priory Park.
Year 5 and 6 had their Viking Day this week. Everyone had a very entertaining and interesting day learning about Viking food, Viking writing and making Viking shields. We ended the day with a battle out on the school field. These are quotes from the pupils about their day:-
“I liked making a shield, however I preferred Viking writing”.
“I enjoyed all of it but the best part was the battle at the end”.
“I really liked when we designed our shields but the best bit was the battle”.
“I really enjoyed the whole of the Viking day, the best bit was writing in Viking”.
Our Year 5 children visited the Safety Zone which is based at St Neots Fire Station. During their visit the children were given advice by local police officers and PCSO’s, representatives from the Fire Service, Environmental Health, Road Safety and St John’s Ambulance officers on personal safety. It was an enjoyable and informative afternoon for both the children and the teachers who accompanied them.
