Friday 29th March

Maths: This week we have continued our measuring madness! We used some balancing scales to see how heavy some items from the classroom were. Our words to use were; heavier and lighter. After this we have moved onto capacity and seeing how full or empty different containers are.

English: We have read the next few pages of Claude in the City and discovered that he went to an Art Gallery. This provided some serious laughter as he spotted a bottom sculpture in the gallery. We did a Big Write about what Claude saw in the gallery and then produced our own guide books. Today we thought about the robber and what she might have been saying.

Global Learning: Today we wrote some promises about what we can do to reduce our carbon footprints and help the planet.

RE: We coloured some happy and sad crosses, choosing colours that we think represents those emotions. Afterwards we linked these back to the Easter Story and thought about happy and sad parts of it.
