Friday 19th May

There are no set tasks for you to complete on SATs Companion, but please do explore the Science section and see how much you know about Healthy Eating and Balanced Diet.

Next week we will be creating our Street Food Rice dishes, inspired by food eaten in India and Bangladesh.  You will bring home your recipes today; please can additional ingredients be brought into school next Friday 26th May as we will be creating and sampling our dishes then.  The children are working in pairs so only need to bring in the items they have highlighted on their sheets - we will provide the rice base for the dishes.

Harrison: Today was Aspirations Day!  I really enjoyed finding out about the different types of jobs people did.  My favourite was the magician - it looks like a really interesting job to have, and I think I have the skills required!

Leo:  In Geography we have been learning about Bangladesh.  I really enjoyed finding out abut the culture and the sorts of clothes people wear.

Lucca: This week we have started to learn some songs and dances for our play.  We are in the process of auditioning and will find out our roles next week.

Susie:  On Thursday it was Outdoor Learning Day and we visited the allotment.  We did some weeding, raking and watering of the areas and I found it really enjoyable to spend time outside.
