Friday 17th November

Talk homework: This week we followed instructions to make a sandwich. This weekend, can you try to give instructions to someone at home to make a sandwich? Don't forget your imperative verbs.

Spellings: disagree, disapprove, disappoint, dislike, disadvantage, disappear

This week we have enjoyed P.E. especially when we played matches in Netball. We had a super time making and eating delicious sandwiches that we made following a set of instructions. We now know that we need to include imperative (bossy) verbs and also time adverbials. This week, we had a maths lesson on Tuesday when we didn't want to stop learning because we are becoming really confident with larger numbers. We were learning how to subtract 10s across a hundred. In science, we have started to learn about different forces and how there are contact and non-contact forces. In computing we added a timer to an algorithm to control when an object starts to move. This week, we said Goodbye to Nolan who has returned to America. We are sad to see him go, but we wish him so much luck for the future.

Have a good weekend and see you at the Christmas fair.
