Talk Homework- What is Thanksgiving? Who celebrates it and why?

Reading at least 3 times a week and record on Boom Reader

Numbots- try to have a go at this. You had the logins in bags this week.

This week we had a dentist visit to talk to us about how to keep our teeth as healthy as possible. We were very lucky to all bring home some toothpaste, a leaflet and some stickers.

In phonics, we learnt j, v and w. We are getting really good at blending the sounds into words now and learning how to write too by using the hear it, pinch it, write it. The children also wrote lists with CVC words.

In Maths, we have been learning one more and one less than numbers within 5 and some children are beginning to work up to 10. This is something many children found quite challenging so any songs, games or activities you can do with this at home would be really beneficial. We looked at number lines, 5 frames, our fingers and sang songs to help learn this.

For PSHE, we have recognised Anti-Bullying week. We learnt what bullying means; repeated and targeted unkind behaviour over time. The children then celebrated their friendships by making gifts and cards for one another.
