First week of Summer Term

Remember to have homework ready for Monday, inc 30 minutes of TTRockstars, spelling practice and reading please.

Welcome back! We hope you had a wonderful Easter break. This term is set to be a busy but exciting one.

We have begun our new History topic of World War Two with a brief overview of its causes and next week we will be focusing on the Home Front. In Science, we have finished off our unit on Friction, focusing on water and air resistance. Next week, we'll begin our new studies about lifecycles, including animal and plant reproduction.

In Maths, we have been looking at perimeter and area; in Art, we have begun to look at pottery artists and designing our vessels that will be able to contain water.

We have also begun our play rehearsals and, as of next Friday, pupils will be expected to know their lines (no scripts), so please support them in this. We will be finalising the cast/costume list soon and will send a letter home with details of what ideally their character will need to wear.

Whilst play performance dates have not been confirmed yet, it's likely to be in the last week of this half-term.
