Reading everyday.

Today the whole of Year 3 took a trip to Cambridge! We visited the Sedgwick museum and did lots of fun activities in the church hall across the street. The children loved learning about all the different fossils and seeing where they had all come from. Some of them even came from Buckden! A particular favourite was the room of crystals and the fossilised poo; you could even see the fish scales in it! We also learnt how to make origami butterflies as inspired by one of the museum's exhibits about sustainability. The children also tried their hand at making an Ichthyosaur out of play dough! The children all behaved very well and were a lovely example of the school.
