Homework- read at least 3 times a week and record on Boom reader. Please bring in a wooden spoon for your child's puppet if you haven't already.
All parents who said you can walk with us to the Towers next week, yes please to your help.
We have continued our learning about traditional tales. The children created a castle outside and were asking if the visitors were friends or foes. One cheeky visitor came along to try and kill the king and queen with poisoned food!
Inside, the children have loved our extended box construction space and have been building castles. It has been very creative and involved some lovely team work.
Our maths has been learning about the composition of 4 and 5, using subitising skills to see groups then saying the stem sentence ___ and ___ equals ___.
In phonics we have learnt the digraphs th, sh and ng. We read the story 'Buzz the Dragon' in guided reading and enjoyed hearing about how the tablet game came alive.
In PE, we practiced our aiming skills.
