In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 8th December

Please complete the four tasks set for you on SATs Companion by next Wednesday. Remember to read for 20 minutes every day, with at least 3 sessions in the week reading aloud to an adult.

Ensure you can spell this week's spelling words, and are ready for our quiz on Monday: rhyme, identify, multiply, occupy, apply, hyphen, recycle, hygiene, python, supply.

Freddie:  In Art we have been working on propaganda posters linked to global warming.  We used wallpaper as our base and then covered it with newspaper.  We then painted our wording on top to reflect environmental issues.

Amaya:  I have enjoyed learning about imperial units of measurement in Maths.  We have been learning how to convert different units of length and mass and also solve problems relating to measures.

Seb:  I have really enjoyed learning about The Lusitania in History.  I found it fascinating that the captain of The Lusitania ignored the message that if he continued his route from New York to Liverpool he would be attacked by u-boats.
