Homework- read at least 3 times a week and record on Boom reader. Please bring in a wooden spoon for your child's puppet if you haven't already.
We had a lovely visit to Buckden Towers yesterday. Thank you to the parents who volunteered to walk with us! The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the rain didn't interfere with their fun:
We heard the raindrops twinkling and we heard traffic - Arna
We saw a man cutting down [pruning] trees. - Alicia
We were sitting down and we were near a big tree and we saw the Buckden Towers. And we were walking back to school.
In maths, we have been exploring mass and capacity. We used balance scales to compare if items were heavier or lighter; we discussed if containers were full, empty, nearly full or nearly empty.
Phonics was a consolidation week and our shared reader was Ben Gets to Bed.
In PE, we practised throwing and catching.
