We learned so much this week about Lunar New Year and we celebrated with crafts, visitors and artefacts.

I learned that there are sweets in boxes [from Mrs Wall] and I made my own dragon. ~ Jenson

I enjoyed making a tower [like the photos of the Chinese temples] and the dragon dance and the noodles in the home corner. ~ Georgie

In maths, we have been exploring the composition of numbers 6, 7 and 8, using a ten frame to help us.

Phonics was an assessment week and our shared reader was Sock Shopping. All children will have a copy of their assessment in their Reading Folder.

In PE, we continued to practise throwing and catching.
