In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

14th March 2025

Homework:

Please read with your child at least 3x per week and log reading onto Boom Reader.

If you have any spare toilet tubes, could you please collect them and bring them in.

The Geography badgers have started their home visits. They stay with their "hosts" for one week. Can you please return them next Friday. Thank you!

This week we had some real-life superheroes come and visit us at school! Jacquetta, a dentist, came in and told us about how we can look after our teeth. And a big thank you to Bea's grandma, Debbie, who also came to visit us to show us her creativity superpower -- she's an artist! She even gave us lovely signed prints to bring home.

In maths we've started learning about number bonds to 10. In phonics, we've been learning the digraph "oo" as in "zoom to the moon" and we read the book Toad in the Rain, revising the "oa" digraph. The children made beautiful artwork in the style of Corita Kent and we had a visit from Gener8 today to learn more about Easter. It's been a cold week outside, but that didn't stop the children from thoroughly enjoying themselves exploring bubbles.

Have a lovely weekend!
