Please ensure you are logging all reading on Boomreader. We have sent home Letterjoin logins for you all to access our online platform we use within school to help with letter formation at home. Please make sure you are doing at least 20 minutes of numbots a week.

In English this week we have been exploring our new book further and the children have been making their own plans on how to find gold. They have also had the chance to do some creative writing where they wrote their own story and we were very impressed by their ideas!

In maths we have been focusing on subtraction within 20 and they have been introduced to a range of different methods and have picked these up really well.

In Science, the children have been looking at mammals and naming their key characteristics and they then got the chance to design their own mammal.  

In Art, we have been learning about primary and secondary colours and the children got to make their own colour wheel to demonstrate their learning.

In History the children have been introduced to the Tudors and have really enjoyed learning about Henry VIII in more detail this week.
