Please can you log your reading, completed TTRockstars for 30 minutes and learn your spellings for a test on Monday: Science, species, efficient, deficient, glacier, scientist, sufficient, emergencies, inefficient, society.

First of all, I'd like to say a BIG thank you to everyone who provided cakes and helped to sell today. The support for each other's initiatives (across classes) has been heartwarming. I'm so proud of how you've all rallied together – thank you. We made just over £200 in the cake sale - the total with non-school uniform funds will be announced next week.

Next Thursday is World Book Day. Pupils can come dressed up as a literary character or in their PJs and it would be wonderful if they could come with a book they're finished with so they can partake in our Year 5 book exchange. Hopefully they can find a new book to enjoy! If your child has allergies, please can you send them in with a drink and snack as the PTA will be providing milk-based hot chocolate and biscuits. Everyone will also need a cup in a plastic bag please to use for their hot chocolate (the bag is to reduce mess when transporting the cup home home).

This week, we've introduced our SDG which is Sustainable Cities. Pupils have calculated their carbon footprint and reflected on ways to be more sustainable. We have continued our learning about converting measurements and introduced our new class book.

We hope you have a wonderful weekend.
