Friday 7th March

Please complete the tasks set for you on SATs Companion by Tuesday.  Make sure you know our spelling words for this week and are ready for our quiz on Monday.  This week's words are:  environment, secretary, jewellery, explanatory, company, desperate, definitely, poisonous, reference, temperature.

Remember to read every day and record your reading in your reading diary.  These will be checked on Monday. 

Make sure you watch Newsround over the weekend and be ready to write about a news story that has interested you.

For our PSHE lesson next week, please bring in 3 items which represent different aspects of your identity, as we have discussed in class.  Please bring these in on Monday so that you have them in school ready for the lesson next week.

Dylan:  This week we have written a balanced argument in English.  I was really pleased with my final piece and I was invited to go to have hot chocolate with Mrs Heather because of my hard work.

Freddie:  In Flag Football this week we played mini matches and then came together to play a bigger match where everyone joined in.

Sonny F:  This week was World Book Day, I enjoyed sharing our favourite books with others in our class and having hot chocolate!
