In the eyes of God, every child matters, every moment of every day

Friday 21st March

Please complete the tasks set for you on SATs Companion by Tuesday.  Make sure you know our spelling words for this week and are ready for our quiz on Monday.  This week's words are:  martial, spatial, partial, essential, substantial, potential, influential, confidential, sequential, torrential.

Remember to read every day and record your reading in your reading diary.  These will be checked on Monday.

Make sure you watch Newsround over the weekend and be ready to write about a news story that has interested you.

Freddie:  This week we dissected an ox's heart in Science.  We got to hold it if we wished, and, using the visualiser, we were able to see the inside of the heart and name all the different parts we have been learning about these past few weeks.

Sonny:  In PSHE this week we have been talking about how stereotypes can affect our sense of identity.  We looked at slogans printed on children's t-shirts and had some great discussions about our feelings as to whether this could negatively or positively influence our thoughts.

Dylan:  I enjoyed Cross Country Interhouse this week.  As a sports captain, I had to help organise the younger children and lead them as they ran around the course.
