During English, we have been learning about word families and realised this helped us to understand our spelling rules. We've also been enjoying our new book in English, we don't know what it's called yet but we liked looking at how the man tidies the rubbish. 

In Maths, we've enjoyed learning about angles and creating our own polygons in our books. We have also learnt about vertical and horizontal lines and where these appear in flags around the world.

In PE, we've enjoyed cricket, learning how to throw the ball at the stumps. We have also started our dance about the natural world, we started this week with volcanoes and will be moving onto earthquakes next week.

In Science, we've started to learn about Light. We discussed what we know about it and what we would like to know. We will be conducting a light experiment soon to see which objects we can see easier in the dark

We've enjoyed Modern Foreign Language when we learnt about pets and animals, we spoke about what pets we have at home.
