Talk Homework- Chat with your child about what they learnt about first aid from Mr Brocklebank. Discuss medicines and how it must only be given by a grown up as they can read the instructions and be sure it is safe for you to take.
Reading- read at least 3 times a week and log on Boom reader.
We had a visit from Mr Brocklebank who spoke to us about what to do if we see someone who needs first aid. The children got to use the bandages to wrap up Mrs Woodward and Mrs Heal. Later in the day the children did first aid on our soft toys and wrote first aid notes for them.
On Thursday, we went to the library. The children had a lovely time hearing and reading stories. If your child sent in their forms and did not bring a book back, the library were processing them and you can collect from them from now onwards.
In maths, we have been learning about the properties and names of 3D shapes. The children have also revised pattern and looked at ABAB, AAB, ABC and AA,BB patterns. They did very well with this and were quicker than the teachers!
In English/ History, we have learnt about Mary Anning. The children created a visual timeline of her fascinating life. They have learnt a lot of facts about her exploration of fossils.
