Week Beg 7th Nov
Talk homework: Find objects around your home. Think about/discuss what materials they are made of, what their properties are and why that makes them fit for purpose.
It's been a busy week, and Acorn has persevered with some tricky learning. They should be really proud of their efforts.
Please can all pupils practise their spellings (below) for a quiz on Monday, do their SATs Companion and record daily reading on Boom Reader. Every student is expected to regularly read their school book please so that they can do an AR quiz; they can also have a home book.
Reble enjoyed learning about line graphs in Maths. We've looked at a lot of different data, and we're growing in confidence reading and interpreting the information.
Matilda and Neveaeh have enjoyed researching and writing our non-chronological report on coal mining within the UK. It was a lot of writing, but they're proud of what they've achieved.
Isabelle and Tom enjoyed starting our new Art project creating lino-printed Christmas cards.
We've started tag rugby training with Daisy and Tom, Reble and Charlie all really enjoyed it and look forward to next week's session. Bella also had fun at girls' football and her first eco-committee meeting.
We hope you have a lovely week.
