    Please see below this week's spellings.

    After assessing the children on the first 100 High Frequency words before half-term, we have looked over the results, as well as the children's English books and picked out the gaps in the children's knowledge. 

    We have started with the first words on the list which are easier to spell, however these words will get progressively more difficult as we move down the list. 

    The children have been grouped, and you will find their spellings in their reading folders.

    Please learn the spellings as well as the dictation sentence as this will be a part of the spelling test on a Monday.

    Each day should start with a capital letter.

    Practise writing the sentences:
    On Monday I tried to count to ten.
    On Tuesday I had fish for tea.
    On Wednesday I had to play football.

    These spellings will be tested on Monday 7th November.

    The children will be sent home with them tomorrow.
