Spellings: tries, lorries, carries, cries, babies
This week, we had a very special visitor in school on Tuesday morning. Sean Rose came to tell us all about his life and then we took part in a circuit of activities and it was a huge amount of fun. The money that we raised will go towards some new equipment to help us stay healthy and fit. In English, Edie enjoyed putting words in the correct order to make sentences that make sense. This is something that we are working on a lot in class to ensure that our writing always makes sense. Cohen loved DT this week when he learnt to make a slider and a lever. On a slider Cohen made a football move along a football pitch. In maths, Darcy has practised her partitioning to show her understanding of tens and ones, well done Darcy! Today in P.E. Harper and Tilly, both learnt how to use fast feet, 'hips to lips' hands and how to keep their heads up, to run really quickly around a slalom of cones. It really got us moving! Araoluwa learnt in science that rabbits will get upset if they live on their own and companionship is very important to them. On Tuesday, Arthur helped his brother to complete the PE circuit and he made a guest appearance as DJ and controlled the music as the children exercised!
Have a good weekend
