Talk Homework: Please practise our Coronation Song- see attachments
In English this week, we have been planning and writing a letter to send the Pasha about sending a giraffe as a gift to the King of France. We enjoyed our conscience alley activity where we voiced reasons for and against. We considered the habitat and diet Zeraffa needs and how the journey itself could be risky for the giraffe. We then recognised that Paris would offer new opportunities for the giraffe, especially as the King could afford to provide new foods, spaces and maybe even its own zoo! In maths, we have been practising making different ways for an amount using coins. We have also revised our 2s, 5s and 10s including applying this knowledge to word problems. In geography, we have located and researched workhouses that were local to Buckden and discussed their purpose as well as more recent uses. In PE, we adding starting and finishing positions to our travelling routines on benches, some of us even added pointy toes and balancing from our last unit! In RE, we learnt about Jesus and the 10 Lepers focusing on thankfulness.
