At Buckden Primary Academy we are proud to support our service children through our Service Children’s Group, which runs once every half term.  This group provides a safe and welcoming space for pupils from military families to connect, share experiences and build relationships with other children who understand the challenges that can be faced in military life.

What we offer:

·        Fun Activities – Sessions include games, crafts and team-building exercises.

·         Emotional Wellbeing – Support to help children cope with changes such as deployments and transitions.

·         Friendship and support – A chance to make new friendships and an opportunity to build a relationship with a member of staff that understands military life and is available for support, advice and a friendly chat when needed.

We aim to ensure that all service children feel valued, understood and supported throughout their school journey.
