Numbots- All children have been given a printout of their login information in their Reading folders. Try to use at least twice a week. We are part of a school challenge and can win the Maths Mammoth mascot if we do the most Numbots in lower school. We haven't won yet and it would be great to achieve this so the more correct answers each child gets, the better.

Anyone who is yet to have brought in a wooden spoon, please do so for Monday so all children have the opportunity to make a story spoon.
Talk Homework-We will be doing a science experiment about porridge next week. If you can, take the opportunity to make some porridge with your child and talk about your favourite things to add to it to make it even tastier. Maybe experiment with some different spices and discover a new favourite...cinnamon anyone?

Talk Homework- This week we read the story 'Home for Grace'. In this book, Grace is a made temporarily homeless and lives with her cat in a door way. Jess and her mum befriend them and make up a gift box for her. This led the children to wonder how they can help people who may not have a home to live in during this cold weather. Please discuss with your child ideas of a simple action we can do as a class to make a difference to people who are in this unfortunate situation. Next week we will be deciding upon our project.
